Kent has over 15 years experience in government/public affairs, policy analysis, lobbying, strategy, contract negotiations, communications, operations and business development. Most recently he led Corporate and Regulatory affairs for DMC Green. In this role he had full responsibility for government and public affairs, policy analysis, regulatory issues, lobbying, strategy, grant development, communications and strategic relationship building.
Prior to DMC Green Leacock worked as a consultant for a number of renewable/alternate energy companies, an international import export equipment supply co and international outsourcing and off shoring company. He designed and implemented comprehensive external affairs strategy including government relations, public affairs, industry awareness, communications and strategic relationship building.
For 10 years prior to consulting, he was a Senior Executive with AT&T and Comcast in the East, Midwest and West. He was responsible for multiple functions including public affairs, government affairs, community relations and operations. During his last four years he concentrated on policy strategy, contract negotiations and government relations.
Kent received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and a Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
